The Hemp Store was founded in 2017 by Tanya, a mother of four whose personal experience with cannabis changed her life forever. After years of battling debilitating migraines and the harsh side effects of pharmaceuticals, Tanya discovered lasting relief through hemp and cannabis, and knew this was something she had to share with the world.

What began as one small shop in Raleigh quickly became a movement for education, transparency, and wellness. As awareness grew and stigma began to fade, The Hemp Store expanded to Wake Forest in 2018 and Chapel Hill in 2019, bringing safe, reliable, and fully tested hemp products to even more members of the community.

In an industry often clouded by misinformation and lack of regulation, The Hemp Store has always chosen the harder path: one rooted in safety, science, and honesty. Every product we carry is full-panel tested to ensure it’s free from harmful contaminants like pesticides, heavy metals, mycotoxins, and residual solvents, because we believe our customers deserve nothing less.
